I do not know why it double posted sorry. I have finnally been approved. Peggi worked magic i will be going to Trenton in March or Febuary. I like to thank Keen98 and steelersjunkie to keep me motivated. I almost gave up on Millis 2 weeks ago but tried one last time.

 

students can not team until that have their CDL. The first 4-6 weeks you will be driving on a permit and the instructor has to be on duty while you are driving. There are some exceptions to this. i.e., some states you will test for your cdl before going on the truck but you're still not going to team until you are ready.

not sure about ohio. I think it's WI that does it.

 

Training with your trainer will take 4-6weeks. If you are from Ohio you will get on your trainers truck with your permit. While you have your permit your trainer must be on duty in the passenger seat with you, no exceptions. Once your trainer feels you are ready to test for your CDL you will go to Ohio and test for it. If you pass then your trainer can be off duty while you drive, and if he wants to you can start teaming. Millis does not make us team, its totally up to each individual trainer. Me, personally, I have no desire to team. Student and I drove 950miles yesterday and only he slept while the truck was moving. I'm not that trusting

Hello all, new here and starting class in September. I can not find anywhere if millis is mainly no touch freight, can anyone let me know. Thanks in advance
