    Oh really?
Trucker charged after trailer dangles from overpass

So far I haven’t heard of any of our trucks laid over. Then again,we get inclement weather pay in case of situations like that.

    X-Country Thanks this.

Didn't say it was yours, I said companies like yours, your all alike. So you turn your truck over and they pay you extra, nice

What I mean is in case of bad weather conditions we shut down and we get paid.

Ever heard of “guilt by association”?;)
Lately the freight section has been screwing up too. Just like this knucklehead did when he wrecked his wiggle wagon in a construction zone.

Sooo now when it's snowing and/or a blizzard instead of Fedwrecks sliding off the road into a ditch at 70mph, they'll be sliding off at 65mph.
    Don't see much difference there.

Nope at our hub they say they will cut the route in half meaning you lose half the miles or give it to someone who can get it done. Despite all the BS on here, here is the truth, if you get a speeding ticket or are in an accident above 65 mph the contractor will have to pay a fine to FedEx. The amount of the fine varies on how much of the safety equipment they want you to have in your truck you actually have and some other criteria. Fines could be 1500.00 or up to 25000. Some contractors with 40 or more trucks have cut down to 65mph. This is a huge opportunity for those of us who have not cut down. As others can't make the runs or are late they will lose those and we will pick those up. When a dispatcher looks at you and says, do what you can, you know what he means. They learn quickly who they can count on and who they can't.

I still have yet to ever pass a Fed Ex truck I think.

I've done two Fed Ex loads since being at LS. They pay pretty good. I thought your terminals would be nicer.

They aren't unreasonable in the time frame, which is why I don't understand why you guys are ALWAYS above the posted limit.

Now they do have some, that I can't figure out how they could run them, and I'm not even going to open the door to find out.
