Too many truckers these days. How can it be a viable career?

    I think some of the medical limitations are long over due simply so that we as drivers are forced to make an attempt to take better care of ourselves. As far as the regulations. ELDs are not going to make any one safer simply because you are constantly worrying/thinking about the clock instead of what's going on around you and how to complete the task at hand in the safest way.

    On my way home the other day from finishing trucking school I was on I94 westbound not sure if it was Indiana but all I saw was a line of trucks for miles and miles and miles heading east bound. It must have been at least a couple thousand trucks I've never seen so many in my life.
