When did “bend” and “fold over” become the same? Is that a Canuck secret sex thing I don’t want to know about? (Don’t answer)

Been awhile since anyone mentioned Breedlove Machine. Let that excuse serve.

I had planned to just drill a hole in the roof of my 2015 GMC. But the metal is so thin now days, I'm having second thoughts about it. I'm not real worried about scratchs up there either. Who would ever see them? So a mag mount is an option. I don't have a good solution for the coax though. I'll have to remove whatever I put on the roof to get in the garage. A 102" SS whip on the bumper like we used to do would be handy. Not sure how well that would work on these new trucks though. And I haven't really looked at what all that would entail with all the plastic on the bumper now days. It's a dilemma.

Got a good tip here on the forum, go to jo-ann fabrics or micheals and buy some 8 guage vinyl. Works like a charm.

Nope....I routed my coax all down my back seat under it and through my ctr console up through dash to radio....
Left enuf to open my rear window to get mag almost roof ctr....
I got a piece of tinted plexi glass to fill the small gap so i dont squat my coax and let the outside in..
If noooo slideing window i have seen guys on youtube go out the firewall or through a drain hole in the floor and route to roof..

I like the idea of running it thru the firwall or somewhere better than thru the window.

I did it that way cause of coax length(15' 4") and when not in use it goes in my back seat..ANNNDDD no moon spots..
