No road test for me sadly. Will get to do it Wednesday so at least I have a date. My teammate who kept on giving the instructors a hard time quit today. We were in trip planning and he just could not grasp the concept. Kept on saying he signed up to drive a truck not take a class on reading an atlas.

That leaves 3 of us in the experience class but tomorrow the other 2 guys will get their training info so it will just be me all alone again. Was told they will not be holding any new classes this week so really will just be me.

Trip planning is an important part of every new drivers training. It is what it is no point in complaining

Thing is he has tank experience but with fuel. Said he was going to call his old boss and see if he can get back on.

Dang that sucks, figured with his attitude. Trip planning isn't too hard, I'm a total inexperienced driver and I get it enough. Anyways, sorry to hear that man. Today was a good day, took 2 computer tests, and we drove to dayton, took about an hour. It was really cool, hadn't driven in like 6 weeks, but It felt good. Really good instructor, very helpful. Easy day, nerves were gone before I knew it

@Juanthehumanoid @newbietrucker91 I'm enjoying this thread and reading about your experiences. I'm highly considering joining Schneider bulk after the new year begins as my first driving gig. Thanks again.

Sounds good man, I would recommend it, it's been good for me. We've had a few drops, but it's all good. If you really wanna be here and give it a good effort and are positive, you'll get through everything fairly well. Nothing to extraordinarily extreme here to do lol today was day 8? We did driving part 2, half driving half class instruction with one computer test. The driving was more city focused today. Button hook turns, stop and go, lights, some traffic etc. Really good day to see what you are lacking in and need work on. A little scary at first with the 53 footer, but I felt in all it was a good day and I am happy with where I'm at driving wise. Good stuff. If you do decide to come, good luck.

No. I should be done with the classroom training on Wednesday or Thursday. If a trainer is available then great if not I'll be off as well till Tuesday. Just have 3 more written tests and my road test to do.

Experience drivers just spend 16 days in training I believe. Just 1 week of local driving training then upgrade tests.
