Which ELD did you go with

blue ink tech,no monthly fee and it was 295 flat rate

I used the keep trucking app for a while and they have the best app i seen but i made up my mind no monthly fee so much for keep trucking

by the end of 2018 half of the elds may be blackballed by the fmcsa and then a lot of truckers will get screwed and lose all that money

 

The "no monthly fee" thing was a determining factor in my decision as well. Monthly fees add up, and that's money I could put to better use elsewhere. Even if it's only a 12-pack per month, it'd be more enjoyable than sending it off to pay a subscription for a service I didn't want but was forced to have.

 

When someone provides an excellent service/product at a fair rate, I'll pay for it.

I've been using BigRoad for 2 years and love their interface and ease of use. Not only as the driver but the administrator privileges afforded to me.

Their offer to send me the DashLink cable at no charge and subscription charge of $19 a month and change, was a no brainer for me.

 

Ok, so what am i missing that makes you think there will be big surprises on the 18th for folks currently running aorbds?

Thanks for the reply bro. I got an answer from you quicker than I could from them. I finally got a call form them Saturday. The yard move is working. I'm using it whenever I'm on a shipper/receivers property. It gives you up to five miles a day.

 

They charged me 233.99 with no monthly til 2019. April I believe.

 

You paid the monthly subscription charge up front. It's called slight of hand

Yes, I got the same deal through the end of April 2019. It's a pretty good deal I think for their service.

After a couple days since I turned it on now, I'm starting to figure out the quirks running their AOBRD software.

 

what is the best and cheap and simple ELD machine to install in a 1 unit company O/O run an average of 8k miles per month , run 10 months out of year. I must have installed by end of January.
