Crete has mostly red trucks according to what I have noticed. Occasionally, I see a blue Crete truck. Since its the only two colors I see, I'm just curious if there is some reason or significant difference for the few blue trucks & the mostly red trucks which seems to be standard for Crete.

Yep,sometimes see a blue Shaffer truck pulling a Crete trailer. Crete owns Shaffer which is a reefer outfit.

You may very well have answered my question but, the trucks I see are marked as Crete trucks.... not Schaffer. I aint saying that they arent Schaffer trucks but I see blue Crete trucks occasionally. While I can't be certain, but I am pretty sure the trailers are not refers, but are dry vans. Again, its possible they are refers because I honestly havent just really looked but, I am pretty dog gone sure, these are dry vans.
I do know the trucks are marked Crete. Again, I aint arguing that these could be Schaffer trucks but with Crete markings etc.

Crete is a family of three companies. Schaffer, and Sunflower I think. Im really reaching back into the dustbin of memories long past.

They were all once one outfit but were broken up into three that I know of.

Crete (dry van) Shaffer (reefer) Hunt (flat bed). Sunflower is reaching way back.

Read the side of the door. It says Crete Carriers and underneath that Shaffer Trucking.

They try to keep all Shaffer drivers in blue and all Crete drivers in red. Doesnt always work out that way though.

And, actually they have a third color. A maroon color for their flatbed division Hunt Transortation.
