I worked there 9 years ago and could not afford to feed my family. Only lasted about three months before I ran away screaming.
NeeklODN Thanks this. -
Nine years ago is a looonnggg time. I can't really judge based on that
SingingWolf Thanks this. -
Hey I'm an old man so 9 years was just a few naps ago!SingingWolf and Shock Therapy Thank this.

In the big picture nine years isn't that long. But I thing a lot have things have changed in the industry in that time span.
-
That's true but let me give my 2 cents on them anyway.
When I got there the old man was still around but the kids had just got their hands on the reigns. All the old timers would cry to anyone who would listen about how the company was going down. Obviously time can heal all wounds so it may be different, buuuuuut in my experience when the kids take over it rarely gets better.SingingWolf Thanks this. -
Yeah I see what you mean....I appreciate the input.
Maybe some other people have some too??? -
Did you end up going with McElroy?
I’m also looking at them as a company I could go with home time don’t sound bad at all.. -
I start orientation with McElroy on January 15th in Ennis, Texas. They are paying $750 a week during orientation and training in Texas, so I think that is pretty good. The company seems like a great place to be and I have done my research. We will see.
Need4Speed and Kwan23 Thank this. -
How is McElroy working out for you? I am in CDL school and considering working for them.Need4Speed Thanks this.
