What if the shipper is 500 miles you would drive all the way back?

Well I don't do anything anymore over 300 miles. Let the 44 cents per mile drivers do the long runs.

But here is my answer. Call the shipper and explain that the receiver has rejected the load and they will need to find another truck to recover this load or it will be returned with charges. Leave it up to the shipper to decide but be firm that your business is not playing games.

Sometime ago, a driver was checking in at a brewery and the dispatcher there at the brewery let a few choice words fly. The driver just went to the phone, called the police, swore out a warrant for the dispatcher and needless to say the brewery came down hard on the dispatcher.

I do not know what state you were in, but must states have laws against such action.

Drivers that deliver to grocery warehouses should use something like a GoPro at all times. Send a copy to the corporate office; they may have no idea how they're being represented by some of their "special needs" employees.

If your warrant in debt or whatever you called it worked even 50% of the time everybody would try it
Just because it works in one town in WV doesn't mean it works everywhere..
