Just very curious about this whole fuel pump deal. I’m running my Cat with the aftermarket DPF. Runs flawless since install. But only good till 2020 unless it changes here in California. So I’m looking way ahead to see what my options are gonna be. Cummins is what I for see, so that’s why I’m doing my homework now “If” I decide to stay O/O by 2020 or just give it up. To many regs that’s burning me out. I still love the freedom but maybe just time for a little change or adjustments.

Stop running in California. Let the carb jerk sniff you with your engine off.

Borned and raised here. That’s all I know....my work has always been local with some overnighters. Skated boarding is all I’ve done most of my trucking life since 1979.tommymonza, Dave_in_AZ and wore out Thank this.

Good year. Stop driving in LA area. Up in northern Cali it's hard to find trucks with dpf. And they are mostly pre 2003 trucks.

Try to get them to lower the price because of the broken sleeper window.

Hmmm. Mine says family BCEXH0912XAP. Manufactured 09/11. It's warrantied until 600K. I had heard the bad fuel pumps were replaced.
I'm at 450K. Dunno if this originally had the bad pump or not. So far so good ( knock on wood ). Think I'm gonna need a DPF soon though. -
If your fuel pump has 3 heads it's ceramic. 2 heads is regular.Derailed Thanks this.
