It's really epic when I think my 3.2 mil and some. With accidents and so forth along the way.
Any trucker able to waltz past GWB without scraping anything (I once scraped a Fed Firearms And Tobacco agent's car.... ffs...) without any damage or incident is the King of the Road as far as I am concerned with that many miles.
What gets me is (Not trying to be weird...) is that in a certain amount of future, that experience is going to pass away. With no way to preserve it. What a loss.
Happy Retirement!!

I bet he drove the only clean, dent and scratch free truck that CRST owns
x1Heavy and Oldironfan Thank this. -
I read some of the ww1 accounts of my grandfather's unit at Malancourt France with his trench guns in heavy weapons company, and the accounts showed a literal hell and gas moonscape he crossed in several days. One of the german trench mortors covered him in gas as he tried to get clear, but burnt his legs proper. They carried him off the field.
He was discharge in 1919 in paris, shipped home from Breast to Jersey City with his unit and did not say one word about that war. He was about 22 or so. Been through hell, way worse than me.
It's a shame he passed on a few months before I came along. Ive would have loved to ask him questions and learn more. But maybe someday. The internet was a blessing, I was able to acquire many documents signed by him. It's a treasure.Oldironfan Thanks this. -
