The bad thing about internet social media.... you cant see sarcasm, and can only assume mochery. Oh well.
W900AOwner and DoubleO7 Thank this. -
You are not being walked on because someone is verbally abusing you. At least not in my opinion. If they are putting off loading you or doing things that is costing you money then that’s different. The verbal abuse only gets to you if you let it.Joetro and Blackshack46 Thank this.

Hell, a few years ago I cussed out a guy who pulled into my driveway and flicked a cigarrette out the window into my yard. He acted like he didn't know what I was talking about when I told him "That ain't your f****** trash can!" so I really laid into him with some of my finest NSFW language. Turned out he was from the local school and dropping off some things for my niece and nephew who were staying with us at the time. About 30 minutes later, the kids mom got a phone call from the school that "he didn't appreciate being cussed at" and then I got in trouble when I said "I don't give a flying f*** about what he 'appreciates', he shouldn't be littering in my yard!" So, she got her sister (my wife) involved and I still didn't back down. You don't disrespect me and then expect to be treated with respect by me.
I usually try to reciprocate the attitude of the person I'm dealing with. I start off respectful, until they are not...
And yes, despite the fact that this guy from the school was probably 20 years older than me, he picked up his cigarrette butt before he left.HotH2o Thanks this. -
So you threw a tantrum to get what you wanted? Should have went like this:
"Hi I have an appointment at this time. Oh you can't unload me until later? Ok, let me to tell my dispatch and inform the broker"Joetro Thanks this. -
Here is what I don't get.
1. The receiver isn't going to honor the appointment.
2. The manger of the receiver pounds both fist on the desk at the driver.
3. The manger of the receiver calls the driver GD mofo get the f#!$ out
And all of that is somehow overlooked or forgotten about because the driver called the police. Guess what, it seemed to work in getting him unloaded. Good for him because here is what I would have done.
Leave the receiver return to the shipper.
Explain to the shipper they rejected the load with foul language.
You bill double your rate. Take pictures and a copy of the shipping bol. Send it to the shipper for payment DUE Upon Receipt.
If they don't pay it in 60 days file a warrant in debt with the court. $56 -
The other guy threw the tantrum. ....iown my company, i am dispatch... broker was informedIndignant trucker and 6wheeler Thank this.

We all have our opinions.
-
If it had "gotten to me", i would have hurt the guy. I took the high road....friend It costs me money anytime someone takes over 45 minutes to load our unload me.
-
So I looked up a warrant in debt, it is the first step in what can be a long process, it is also only used in VA. enough with you're ####ing warrant in debt it doesn't apply in nearly any situation here.
