No, I wouldn’t worry about a thing.
And kids, this is why we
1.) don’t run teams.
2.) have the next gig lined up BEFORE we give any office jock any idea that we are about to jump ship.
3.) travel light as company drivers
4.) quit during home time.
5.) do not move that truck if there’s a disagreement on where that truck should be heading. If you lived up to your end of the bargain, make them live up to theirs.
“But Six, they might call the cops and say that we stole that truck and we end up in jail.”
Fearmonger tales. It happened to a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend.

In trucking it's take no prisoners, ever. When leaving your next mega, don't tell a freaking soul.
When you're back at the terminal, just go in and say adios.
SO, was this CRST? -

Hi, probably could if they are real dicks, but hard to argue if you were teams, if it were me i would plaster their names all over. they dont respect you why return the favor.ALWAYS keep your plans to yourself and pick your time. i know you want a good reference to better your position, but sadly you run in to these kinds and once you tell your next employer the truth, chances are its not the first time its been said.keep your driving record clean and some longevity, you will not have a problem.these are the same type that hold imigrants papers as leverage.you might have to end up with a lawyer writing the dicks a letter, every driver should have...AUTOMATIC CALL REORDER APP ....on their phone it has saved me many hassles and dont tell anyone till they stick their foot in it.GOODLUCK

A little different situation, but I worked for a manager that was notorious for sending you home the moment you said "I am giving my two week notice". By doing so he would basically cheat you out of two paychecks. So much for budgeting your carrier move.
Soooo... I send my notice via email to him and cc'd the head of HR.
Pi$$ed him off. But worked my two weeks as promised back when I was hired on.Last edited: Dec 26, 2017
