For audiobooks I recommend the Playster app....$15 a month for unlimited audiobooks, and you can download ahead of time on wifi for offline use instead of streaming. (it's what I do)
Not as many books as Audible, and the search engine is a little clunky, but totally worth it in my opinion. I'm currently listening to the Game of Thrones series since I never watch TV.

Try Neal Boortz. His is political commentary. He is a Libertarian so not the norm.

I had never heard of playster, I looked it up and it looks like it is doubling in price but I don't see anything about that on their site. Do you know anything about that?

I love JRE, but he annoys me at times with how he’s somehow a professional in hunting now and grass fed beef and sustainable farming BS. He didn’t even know about public lands until a couple years ago. He likes to correct people quite a bit

    Dan Carlin

Dan Carlin's Hardcore History: Dan is basically a history junky and will walk people through various historical periods. I think he strives to be like James Burke and connect related events together or make sure context is understood.

    or

Dan Carlin's Common Sense: This other show is more of a commentary on current events, but strongly informed by his studies on history.

Currently listening to Hardcore History, it's pretty interesting. I'm listening to the one on the Prophets of Doom.

    Definitely gotta check this out.

Ive listened to about every jre episode. I enjoy them.

If it wasnt for him, i also wouldnt know about Steve Rinella and public lands and being sustainable on only meat you hunt.

I wouldnt know about John Dudley, and i wouldnt have gotten into archery. Love shooting my bow now!

There is a ####ing lot of #### i wouldnt know about without him.

I thought way before his podcasts... that he was just some tool muscle head. My thoughts have changed.
