Yes, stupid simulators for everything it seems:
Broke Down 69 Thanks this. -
First rule of thumb with automatrons or robotics: Don't put your D#@% in it...SingingWolf, diesel drinker, Broke Down 69 and 2 others Thank this.

Wow! What great open minds we have here.
Computer simulation can and is very realistic. Don't assume everyone has only a laptop capable of running porn video. This guy may have a million dollar rig simulator.
But go ahead, bash away. -
YEah that makes a lot of sense. the guy has a million dollar truck simulator built by nasa and wants to get into trucking and is to cheap to go to a truck school. Even so, no amount of money could build a simulator to replicate the reality of trucking in dangerous and stressful situations.Broke Down 69 and TaterFox Thank this.

Yep.

We had this discussion on Steam in the ATS forum and in no way is it a true simulator . Its fun but it still just a game .
SingingWolf and Prof.Gringo Thank this. -
Well, if you read my initial reply and what was commented on following that, apparently the 15 year old kid that made it to NASCAR using a simulator had a $3 million rig so why can't this guy have a $1 million rig?
I get NASCAR is not driving a truck but you guys act like this was the dumbest question ever posted. Simulators are good, no they can't replicate the stress but can be very realistic. -
Oh get over yourself. There's a huge difference between computers driving cars and computers simulation random traffic situations.
-
And there is the best answer provided.....real feedback on this simulator game.
Thank you
