I was amazed that there was a truck stop in the area with parking at 9:30, but apparently it just doesn't fill up. I was amazed at the unbridled laziness on display, though. 30+ open spots and they park in the drive through from the pumps.

Probably because this time of year......that doesn't happen too often.

According to reviews the place is never full. You get the average door slammer that can't waddle more than 50 ft and they'll mark it full if the front row doesn't have any spots.austinmike Thanks this.

For some reason I seen Carneys Point and I thought of the one in Kenly NC.....

The lack of civility and display of pure selfishness is breathtaking in this industry. Today they park anywhere they want. Tomorrow they will knife you, pull a gun or just hit your truck for the parking space.
This sort of thing was unheard of when I started in this industry in 1976. The biggest beef we had back then were the jerks who left their trucks at the island while the attendant pumped the fuel and went in for dinner and a shower.
Come to think of it, lots of truck drivers have always been ##*h****s,mjd4277, just_sayin, Trucker61016 and 5 others Thank this. -
I have never seen that lot full. I guess because everyone parks there and along the curb 4 deep upfront! Just plain lazy!

You have to blame the management at this Flying J for not controlling the "clowns" that think they can park just anywhere. Maybe if the truckstop management all over the country would control this crazy parking it would be better for us all but there again there isn't enough parking in general for some areas.

I'm ok with them leaving them alone. Some places you have no choice Sometimes... there has been times when tired and out of hours I have parked in "questionable spots" I make sure not to get in the way though!mjd4277 and Trucker61016 Thank this.

There’s a lot of parking within 20 miles of there, a couple of service plazas and then the 2 truckstops at the 109 and then the J at exit 99.
