I installed a Hendrickson SBL on the front axle of my East stepdeck. There's time when id kiss the ground with the tires pulling in and out of certain places, but I never had issues going down the road at highway speeds.Hollywood., SAR, Oxbow and 2 others Thank this.
-
That’s what I was needing to know. Didn’t want issues hitting road and defeating purpose of lift.
Oxbow and snowman_w900 Thank this. -
What size tires you run and what kinda flatbed you got?
-
295/75/22.5, about to get 2019 53’x102’ benson flat
-
That's what I was wondering. I run 255/75/22.5 on my step. The SBL (side beam lift) is what I used because my suspension is underslung. It was a weld on kit, I know the newer UBL is a bolt on kit so that's nice. You can also weld it on as well if you desire.
-
Yeah the bolt on is what I’m looking intoOxbow Thanks this.

One thing you will need to do, is since it's a newer trailer, you'll need to have someone with the Wabco Meritor software plug into it and set the lift axle function up. Othwise you will have abs issues.
roshea, SAR, Oxbow and 1 other person Thank this. -
Ok will ask dealer about that. Have you ran disc brakes? This one has them and never had trailer with discOxbow and snowman_w900 Thank this.
-
I personally have not, but alot of the fellas I run with do. They love them. If I spec a new truck or trailer in the future, it will have disc.
