What performance compromise do you have in mind?

The one performance factor I've read about from tests and testimonials is that a mag mount will suffer from an approximate 0.1 dB loss when compared to a permanent mount. This 0.1 dB loss isn't going to be noticeable to anyone except those with the most sensitive testing equipment under strict test conditions.

I doubt this factor will be endangering any lives.

 

0.1 of a db....Hell that even more quiet than a mouse fart
