I took it to the Cummins shop to get the coolant checked, tested and pressure tested. They said the coolant and system was fine but the belt tensioner and pulley was bad.

The fuel pump plungers looked fine (I said change anyways) but the head had a broken spring. They said I had to buy a complete new head for $400. I told her I had a extended warranty till 400,000 (has 340,000 on the clock).

She’s supposed to get back with me about what the warranty covers. You guys think the fuel pump head, belt tensioner and pulley will be covered?

Thank you very much for giving me the tips on the 2 cyl fuel pump!!!

Drain and refill always works, and just pick your favorite colour either one will work.
