I'm 44, male, and experienced. I'm looking for dry van work only, coast to coast, and across the border if the pay and runs are good and long. Pin to pin preferably!

fullsizeoutput_18d.jpeg Try ERB,,,drivers there seem to be happy and if you're willing to live out of truck that might be right up their alley. I worked for McKevitt way back before they castrated their trucks but at .50 cpm they are still overlooked and the best maintenance I had ever seen in my years,

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Been at mckevitt several times myself over the years for fill in work, talk about a waste. Anyways erb would be a good idea if my father hadn't been who he was back in the days, just one of them things where a man hates his kids and has more power in the industry then I did back then. Appreciate your response though

fullsizeoutput_17c.jpeg Is RDB Logistics still running? Or you know everyone and their dog wants someone to haul chips. I'm guessing you would prefer long haul?

That's little Jazz in front of one of RDB's trucks when I wasted a summer hauling for him..Okay job if you want to haul stateside

I've never heard of them!! There's not to many options out of here though, even trying to get on with companies from out of province I seem to have run into the issue of there hiring zones don't include this part of Ontario. Thunder bay is the butthole of Canada, and there is limited options

RDB Enterprises. Big companies hire out of t bay, Bison etc as we are in their lanes. Not recommending but I see who is parked around town. Big Freight as well. The usual suspects.
Crap when I took 1 1/2 years off phone rang numerous times from companies head hunting,,ya my buds would say" well so and so is not working, call him" and they did!
Try AYR,,,dont be concerned about companies reputations, you make your own with company

I should of probably mentioned that I'm looking for small, these big companies certainly are not about the driver as they should be. I've been struggling lately due to a frustration level lately due to company politics and thievery, crazy expectations that we the drivers should pick up the tab on more and more as the years progress. It could be one of these things where it's time to park it entirely if I can't find a human based company, but figured I would attempt coming on here and seeing what people have to say. The good days of trucking are gone with the introduction of elds, and greedy employers. Guess that's the way of the world

Coast to coast, everyone has to go through the Bay. Don't know anything about EBD but I always seem to see them by the Dog House there. Decent looking equipment.

You ever thought about the Red Army? I've talked to some of their drivers and if you can get past being the slowest truck on the road it sounds like a place that has it's crap together. Pay is supposed to be decent too.
