Yup. Exactly. In fact, when first instituted, people cried because they got less government money. So, do you want more per hour or just government money???? I think we know the answer.

Or instead of paying one person $7.50 to take the order and another person $7.50 to prepare the order, the order taker is replaced by a kiosk so that the order preparer can be paid the $15 minimum.

That’s exactly right. If restaurants have to pay unreasonable hourly wages... hello automated menu kiosks like at panerra bread. It’s that or close doors.

But you know Big Business- That's not "Good enough" For them- They would like a Kiosk, and a preparer- preparer only around $12 an hour or a touch over whatever the M/Wage is at the time.

Big Business and Government- Always Scrapping to get the Most outta what they can at any and all costs

If you look around. Wages are going up anyways. It's supply and demand. ... I remember 20 years ago. Seeing $15 and hour advertised to flip burgers in West LA...(next to Beverly Hills). They couldn't get anybody otherwise.
Even around here. This backward wages place. Wages are going up for remedial, no skills jobs. Like $12 and hour for cashier at a convenience store. I've seen them offer up towards that at burger joints. Can't get people otherwise.
The forced minimum wage just ruins stuff. Causes inflation. We're gonna see it. We're starting to see it in wages in trucking. Just the start.

Besides all the above. So many don't want to actually work. It's bad.
