Aren't you starting orientation at Paschall Truck Lines tomorrow or the next day?
There's a couple dozen companies that hire cdl-A drivers with no experience.
    Where is your location?

I’ll bite..Yes. They are called “starter companies” by most of us. You get a year experience there for less than desirable pay but then you can then apply at better companies for more pay. Sorta like paid training.

Do you plan to have your CDL before applying? Schools take 4-5 weeks. Then you walk right into a paying job as you learn how to be a professional driver. That’s how it worked for me.

Oh I see you already have been posting. I don’t get it. You wasted my time. You already have an orientation date.

    WesternPlains Thanks this.

Just know that this isn’t a cakewalk to begin with: there are dues to pay to get comfortable with this career... what do I mean? Well, it takes time... to really know if this will work for you.. and usually, somewhat low pay for the first 6 months or so.. ; but if you hang in there and stick it out and find that your sacrifice of time and not quite making the bucks you think you will until you’ve really got it: this can be a great career!

WesternPlains, sshira43 and IluvCATS Thank this.
