    Ok if you are serious, here’s my 2 cents. Since you already have a CDL, just go into a flatbed job. There are several flatbed companies that pay better and have a brighter future. Ya, it’s harder but in my opinion, very rewarding.

    Ugh! I knew how to drive a truck from driving on the farm; but, oh, boy, I really needed the practical experience of actually going long distances, hitting docks, maneuvering turns, dealing with customers... before I was in anyway ready to take on this career!.......

    Thank you . The problem is no one want's to talk to you with no OTR experience . So far the only one that is willing to give me a chance is PTL .

    I don't have much experience with tractor trailer . But i have been driving a class B truck since getting my CDL in July.
