Yes the gov stepped in and stopped them , they then had a rule where they could only sell a truck a few times (something like that)and then had to sell it outright , I don't remember the selling limit but it was much lower

 

I think some of those mega's just have do much money and influence, they are as close as you can be to being above the law. They just do whatever they want.
The driver always gets thrown to the wolves.

 

My lease through Freightliner is good.

 

The story I heard was they'd sell the truck, get em loads until the truck was bout paid off then starve em out, get the truck back, rinse and repeat.

 

That could have happened to , I saw them turning guys loose to do household goods in january with no expierence and mostly no freight , most of them failed pretty quick
