Please don't take this the wrong way, by the questions you ask you have absolutely no idea what you are doing and would be better off doing Uber work, at least then when you go broke you can still drive the car.
What would you do?

Hypothetically...
Long Haul coast to coast. Even if I get as far as Salt Lake City. I'm still making a ton of money. You figure 4000 miles x $2.00 which equals $8,000 and another pick up for 2000 miles x another job pick up in Salt Lake City for $2.00 per mile. That's another $4,000. $12,000 for a job that takes a week. I have a buddy who can handle the brokers for 10% which is a bit high, but he can get me jobs constantly. So really I'm making 4000 x $1.80 and 2000 x $1.80 which still equals $10,800. Don't plan on having a lot of time off though unless you hit 70 hours or are stuck somewhere. Should be able to make it back by the 70 hour mark though. -
But, yeah I have no idea what I'm talking about right? lol

Explain to me why that plan wouldn't work. I didn't include IFTA and the other expenses into that figure.

My next door neighbor runs a crossdock here in Phoenix, he has Eastern Euros coming in every day from NY. They all drive brand new Volvo 780.
Natural Thanks this.
