I wouldn't consider that a lateral move seeing as spd does a lot of od freight, specifically in aerospace freight. That's good experiance

I agree. Their company drivers on the high end, pulling the superloads, make over $100g. I’ve seen multi axle company drivers make $100g, but a 5 axle flatbedder?

We've got a couple of guys here at transport pulling down $100k a year. Each in a quad axle Coronado 122, or a quad cascadia. I considered smoky point myself but decided on transport because they are smaller.

Every spd driver ive spoken with have nothing but good things to say, even after the merger with Daeske

SPD seems to command a lot of respect here. I’ve definitely noticed that. And I do still want to be a company driver. Without getting into my work history, let’s just say I find freedom in not worrying about payments and bills and how things are gonna work out. That’s worth something to me.

We have some. But not on 5 axles. But then again, how often do you see a 5 axle pulling 19 wides on a regular basis?

    Ever chatted with @kylefitzy?

Anyways, they’re like the other players out there...they’re going to want you to work your way up. Lots of guys do well with the 10 wides but bomb with the 12-12’6 wides. They don’t catch the rule changes and run the loads like they run the usual loads and get nailed. You should look into them again. Pad that resume and pad those pockets at the same time.

Yes Kyle talked to me. Decent dude. He is happy there and if I ever make a change I would use his name.

Not wide or long, tall at 14'4", and #### are they top heavy at 22500 each.

And yes I realise that those straps on the bottom won't do much to secure, they are there because the safety guy says they have to be

So... @Blackshack46 what your saying is...

If in doubt, rub one out!

An they say the internet lacks wisdom.

Sirscrapntruckalot - I'm stealing that line for my little tag/quote/sig line for sometime in the future. I know I know...not original. I like extra crispy anyhow. ;)
