Need to install Detroit block heater

Same concept. Right side of motor. Take out what looks like a plug and replace it with the heater. I'll try and get a picture of one of mine.

Ok I know there is one by the oil thermostat close to the oil filter & there is one on the passenger side on the engine close to the radiator... there should be another on the drive side that' where I'm lost

There's a piece of 3/4" black electric casing that runs vertical right in front of the plug where block heater goes on drivers side. If you move that piece of casing with your hand,,no tools...you'll see the plug

Maybe it plugs into somewhere on the block where the heat sensor usually fits? Or perhaps you could just move back to FL.
