The ag380 is junk to me. Even though you have 40,000 rears, the suspension is only rated at 38,000 lbs.

I've never run a truck with the AG380, but if it's 400 pounds lighter I could sure see it as an advantage in my line of work. If it would hold up.

I've already converted to AG400 partner. It had the AG200 and when I bought it. Two separate times I broke the studs that hold the wishbone to the torsion bar. Thank the good Lord I was going slow both times because that old axle just swings back and the rig just pretty much goes where it wants to.

A chain, a binder, and cross your fingers..... and bring her on back to the shop and put new studs in.

I figured sooner or later it would literally be the death of me if I didn't convert it. Lol.

Well I arrived at the gps location on the BOL. I've been calling the contact numbers since yesterday and getting iffy information. Arrive on site and nothing in site except a tree, a big rock and a rabbit.

After driving back to cell service and some phone calls they are sending a lull and I will unload it myself for a couple thousand dollars more than the original rate.

I've got a AG 200 with the wishbone setup on my 97 KW T-600 with 1.2 million miles and never had anything break or needed to replace parts. It gets beat up and down on gravel roads and in the fields. I had a alignment done to it last year and everything checked out ok and still tight. I do grease the bushings quite often though. I guess I've been lucky. @ShooterK2 I remember you telling us awhile back that you broke some studs and replaced with the flat bars. I know you run in some tough conditions too especially the lease roads down there.

We have another KW with the AG 100 8 bag suspension and I replaced some bushings due to them getting rotten and falling apart, but other then that its been good to us.

Yeah we do a lot of frac jobs down in the Canadian river bottoms. Lots of small, steep hills with sharp curves. Lots of low range driving. Everything gets a workout. Both times I broke my suspension I was on a lease road.

If it's working for ya, I wouldn't change it. But if ya ever decide to, it's not too bad a job. I just wanted to get something in there that wasn't gonna break. In the two years I've owned this truck, those are the only two times I've had to come in off a job due to truck issues. Missing loads costs as much as the parts to fix stuff a lot of times. So after the second time it broke, I said heck with it. Replaced it all. Lol.

Chop down the tree, build a fire. Use the rock on the rabbit, and count all that easy money!

Yep. I agree. Fix the AG400. You can make it a AG460 if you need extra capacity. Easily

My AG380 on my t600 was a nightmare for what I do. Mostly aluminum, underslung and built like crap. Poor design if your near rated capacity very much in my opinion.

In the course of mine, here's what I broke or replaced.

1 hanger. A few hanger bolts randomly broke on a couple hangers . Broke 6 of the 8 u bolts eventually. Lots of shocks, because of the long length of travel in the suspension. They get alot of wear., all torque arm bushings, 3 aluminum cross member gussets because of cracks.

With that being said, I do run kinda heavy on my drives, but not really much past rated capacity, if any. Also, it sucked off road badly. That's just my own experience.
