I went to medical detox a few months ago to save my own life which I knew was worth something. I only needed 4 days of medicines specific to the receptors in my system and get that BP down below stroke levels. (Something like 230 over 150 plus...) My previous doctor was very hard man and he never really cared to deal with people who are not abusers but have built up tolerance to the same old dose and went into withdrawal mid month regardless. (That was interesting... does it make sense? medicine in the system, tolerance built up and presto withdrawal...) what he did not want was to prescribe medicines for that kind of support because the DEA would call him on the carpet and ask why.
In my state having gone to medical detox makes things interesting with our laws, but no worries the next doctor will take that into account and things will be better.
I learned so much in the last ten years or so and watched so many people become outright addicts, get cut off then go to street herion which is actually cheaper overall and then get arrested etc. I don't know sometimes. We are way beyond the say no days of the 80's
Never mind growing up around drugs in the 60's and 70's compared to today, the solution to any problem was to take more of the drugs HA.... -
I'm actually surprised I never got "hooked" on drugs with the amount I did at times.
More so cause I have high tolerance with medicines legal or illegal.
It's good that you got the help you needed to take back control of your life.

Must have worded things wrong
She has been clean for about 13 years, but she had a few relapses in the begining of our relationship.
She had her last relapse about a year or so b4 she got pregnant.
But ty addiction can ruin even the strongest family or relationship that's for sure.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I suspect the war on drugs is almost over. The fentanyl in the heroin killing everyone reminds me of wood alcohol in booze during prohibition. When tons of people started getting seriously injured they killed a constitutional amendment in a hurry. Politicians are pretty fickle and will go where the wind blows them if it's that or lose the next election.

To take a stab at the question you asked. The short answer is yes they can. They don't have to go above government regulations. But some companies do.

Nope. The second set the reaction kicked in and that was a experience i don't want to repeat.
Maybe it was a good thing, I was told that stuff only increases in dosage over time until I hit a wall.
At the miniscule amounts I had, it would essentially kill someone who has no tolerance to pain medicine. Breathing would quit and that is that followed by the heart shortly.
What bothers me is this. Getting Fentenyal was harder to get a camel through the eye of a needle against Arkansas laws and people of high ranking doctors and counseling prior to being issued the stuff.
HOW are the thuggies getting mountains of the stuff? Raw too. Just how? If I know that... then maybe we have a chance to snip that in the bud before we lose too many people.BruceStarkweather Thanks this. -
I knew I was correct in the debate with my friend.
He just wouldn't accept my answer so posted here thinking maybe will replies from ppl actually in the industry, then maybe he would ####. Lolx1Heavy Thanks this. -
To much money in it to stop
It was a losing effort from the begining anywaysx1Heavy Thanks this.
