Yeah, that's an idea.

Unforchanatly the shop I worked in at the time wouldn't have let us do that. We had to do the entire conversion. Prolly more of a liability issue more than anything.

I can only imagine doing the quick release valve deal, and one go bad.....the customer will be coming back on the shop for recommending that. I guess it was just safer liability wise do it the way KW wanted done. I get what you're saying though.

 

Lift showed up at 1:40 and I was Rollin down the road by 2:45. Somehow or another my travel agent found a pickup on Saturday morning 50 miles from this jobsite in the middle of nowhere Utah. Even pays GREAT if you DONT count the 6 stops and tarping. Right back to my stoppin grounds though.

The unloading pay did take some of the sting out of it.

 

I solved the problem. I bought another truck. Where were you when I needed this redneck idea?

I'm with @2CAN. I can't wholly wrap my mind around the quick release.

 

Yeah Hogebuilt is what I usually see and what I'll probably use.
I do like the looks of those TRP's though.

 

Pretty scenery where you unloaded but for that white sheet. Matter of fact I saw some on the ground in Douglas GA this morning from back on (Wed?).

 

If you have to standby for a minute that looks like a fine place to do it.

 

Yes. it was actually nice out at about 40 deg. No stocking hat or coat. No cell service though so just staring at the clock on the wall the whole time.

There were lots of people out on the lake ice fishing today. Never understood that sport. Being from Phoenix and all!

 

Well when the air bags get over pressure in them, ie from a bump or rough road it will release the excess air pressure quicker. You may here them if your on a washboard back road. Kinda sounds like when an air dryer is acting up and spitting off every 5 seconds. I did it on a 96 w9 I had once. Made a big difference. You just plumb them in where the supply lines tee off to the bags. Takes two of them one for the front one for the back.

 

Oh yes, I remember now, seems like she had on a push up brassiere. Not that I was looking....

 

Bought them at the local KW dealer this morning. Was $227 but I got them for $193 I think it was. Not custom but neither is the truck lol, just a bucket of bolts .
