Foreman grills are incredibly hot. You need something like 2500 watts to "Drive" it electrically. Then there is the cleanup of fats and juices etc.
We used plug in dutch ovens. Fill half with ham, taters, onions small, a broth gravy of some sort and a brussel sprout etc. Clap the other half over it plug into big lighter, plug other oven in. Drive. When your driving is finished your dinner is served. It's difficult not to stop as the cab fills with dinner 4 hours prior to end of your day.
Emergency rations- do you use them?

Why the radiation pills?

I'm borderline diabetic. So I cant do fruit juices and have to limit my carbohydrates. Water and diet soda is all I can do.
Forman grill is mainly for hamburger, sausages and steaks. Makes easy short work of it.
I have a hot plate and skillet for eggs and bacon. The rest usually goes in the microwave.
As for cleaning,.. once cooled a few baby wipes cleans up skillet and forman grill in less than a minute.

Forman grill is very simple and easy to clean. The fats drip into a tray. While still warm and in liquid I empty into my trash can,.. does not melt the plastic trash bag. Then a little dawn, water and baby wipes. Good as new.
Plenty of power in my truck. I have 3000 (4000 peak) watt sinewave inverter for when the truck is running. Then the Honda EU3000 generator to reduce idling and fuel consumption.
As for power consumption. My inverter has a LED power draw meter. The 1000 watt microwave uses more power than the Forman grill.
I do not lack for creature comforts while out on the road.

Did you not look at the pictures?

Zero calories,.. and I like my bubbles.
Its not like I drink it all in one setting. Like I said,.. that will last 4 - 6 weeks.

Its probably a good idea to have a couple MRE style meals just in case.
I have a question for you guys running microwaves. I see one guy running a 1000 watt, Im thinking about a 750 watt. Would one of those work well for heating things up? -
They all work,.. just takes longer to heat things up. 2 mins or 10 mins,.. which do you prefer?
Hurstx1Heavy Thanks this. -
Yes, I am wondering about the power output and endurance of that generator.

They had one that did a frozen turkey in a few moments long ago. I'll have to go back and see about digging that one up.
Microwaves actually was a accidential invention when a candy bar kept melting in close proximity of a radar device back in the cold war.Katbirdmine Thanks this.
