    Hi
While driving down the road, all of the sudden I realised I have no lights at all on a trailer but turn signals and flashers. I was on my way to TA to fix right turn signal on a trailer and when I pulled into the rest area I still had left turn signal and flashers on the left side. After few minutes not even that... completely dead
I checked pigtail and even replaced it on the spot, checked all the fuses but they were all good.
    Any ideas?

I question ground because there should be at least five different power wires that run different lights on the trailer but only one ground. Some times the lights will ground through the 5th wheel but not always.
It is had to say how to find it with what you have on the side of the road. If you have anyway to ground the trailer frame to the truck and the lights come on that's it. Jumper cables from the trailer glad hand to the truck and get it to the shop. Have some tools? Check wires in pigtail.
Chicago? It way be to cold for electrical fluid. May have to wait for it to thaw out?

Well i did what you said. Jumper cables from glad hand to the truck frame - turn signals and flashers on the left came back. Tail lights, side lights, markers - no

Best I can do unless you have a tester but a least that is something. CB a tag along and get to the shop. Suppose we can not do that any more in this world of pulling other truckers king pins and getting sued because a dope head drove under the trailer and a light was out.
Check all the electrical connectors you can. Good luck.
