PGT Trucking, Inc. - Monaca, Pa.?

PGT has its goods and its bads. Been with them over 3 1/2 yrs. Not a bad company if u are looking to stay in the East part of the U.S. they do go cross country but loads are few going in that direction. Benefits that we used to be offered have been slow to come back to us, but that is probably the same at all companies due to economy.

 

ARe you still with PGT? If yes how is it today?

 

PGT was the only one company to give me a prehire letter to their company. The top 5, Maverick, TMC, Melton, Roehl and one other, all turned me down because I hadn't worked in 14 years. Being an unemployable, by the VA, veteran its hard to get back into the workforce for the most part. But PGT has given me a prehire so I go to work for them and serve them as legally and safely as possible.

 

Started Great Lakes yesterday and really working out so far, passed all 3 mandatory tests on the 1st try so tomorrow I will start the JLG lift and heavy forklift training to get certified on those for the start of the oil field certifications. Another person and I were the only ones to pass the 1st time around. I'll keep up everyday or so and will be back later!!!!
