Yep. I told them that and they argued with me that I was wrong. Then they went and spoke to their ifta consultant and the consultant told them I was correct. They just couldn't believe it.

 

If you're an owner, just line 5 to the truck stop. Otherwise your 14 just started.

 

I run a 15 truck fleet, in October we started trying the Rand McNally TND765 and had problems from day 1. Connectivity issues, engine sync issues, unprompted duty status changes, the list goes on and on. So I sent them back and we are starting over.

Currently looking at: Omnitracs XRS, Fleetmatics, Fleet Complete and Spireon / Fleet Locate. Anyone have any experiences with these?

I've been hearing the "don't worry, we're getting that fixed" BS since December 2017.

My last hope as a one pony show is KT. I seriously hope they have their shtuff together because the other fawks catering to owner operators are a joke.

 

VDO roadlog... they’ve been AROUND out in Europe for over 10 years give or take.... now in the US

Hardwired, no Bluetooth/ WiFi...

 

I have KT and haven’t had a single issue with it.
