Plaza Go is correct. From there, you'll be a mile from the new house and 1.5 from the shop, basically right up Main st. If you have my number, give me a shout. If not, I'll send it to you. I'll be around starting tomorrow for my 4 days off.

I haven't used this trailer in quite a while. It's our newest one and still like 10 years old, lol.

I haven't found much difference between trailer types when it comes to our regular products (mostly potash, limestone and phosphates). As long as they are properly maintained, they all work well (we've got one Lode King getting near 30 years old now).

I'm not big on dry bulk, but like anything else, I do it well and the company knows I'm usually a yes man. Especially if it's going somewhere new. I should be back on flats by the end of the month.

I wouldn't mind this Wyoming trip a couple times a month though. Almost straight miles, empty out, loaded back.

We've got some 30 year old pneumatics too. They unload just fine. We hardly ever haul anything but sand and occasional load of salt. As long as we keep good valves and product lines in em, they never really wear out.

Never pulled a Mac myself, but I do see a few around here and the guys seem to like em.

Had a couple issues to take care of today.....

Running yesterday I was having air problems. Been fighting them cause dummy me forgot to change my dryer cartridge. The truck froze up when I was having eye problems and the compressor popped off. I noticed yesterday I had a air leak coming from the park brake valve. Had to sit seven hours yesterday to get unloaded and about three hours in the dryer started popping off. Did a walk around and couldn't hear anything.

Popped the hood today and the pop off is leaking air. Took it out and went to the local shop to get a new pop off and dryer cartridge. $165...what...how much is that cartridge... $99....you can keep that I get them delivered to the house for 35. Installed the pop off and put the heat gun on the brake valve for a couple minutes and the problems went away for today.

Now if I took that to a dealership what would they have done. Possibly changed the compressor.... Probably the air dryer....for sure the brake valve. Had it for three days and charged me the cost of my first child.

Didn't run today cause they were full last night and switching to sow feed today.....which was fine....just got a call...they used twelve loads today get the loads in tomorrow as early as you can.

There's a snow storm rolling in tonight and we can't load before six am.

    Rant over...

I originally responded while I was waiting for the testing to get finished, and I unloaded 22 tons of soda ash in just under 2 hours. One of the fastest I've ever done. For fine powder, it flowed like aggregate. I'm not sure it was the trailer, but hot dam was it fast. I only waited four and a half hours till I was allowed to start unloading, lol.

Sitting in Amarillo (till morning). Apparently my boss doesnt think the HOS apply to me. Went Midland to nw Ok last night/this morning. Unloaded at an oil rig and ran back down here. Ran out of hours at the shipper, boss didnt care. Just load it and head to a truck stop to get a "few hrs rest" before going straight to Laredo.

Yea I'll be leaving here at about 6am. Im whooped.

It's been a month of Sundays since I've heard that eagle scream.

Glad to be back on the highway.
