2012 volvo vibration

When I turn engine on , yes everything shakes until it gets little bit warmer , It has 464431 miles , yes hard pulls do the rpm flutter up and down ((

 

Has replacing the injectors with new stainless steel cups solved your problem?

 

I have a Ken worth today was headed to Nashville and it started doing same thing yours was doing but when truck was sitting there at a idle it started to rev up I was afraid it was running away I ran to it but then it went back to normal idle runs fine till you have a load on motor then it shacks, could it be injectors or do I have another problem ?

 

I also have the shaking problem on a 2012 D11 I-Shift. It happens while in 12th gear around 1100rpm. RPM will also go jump up and down by about 75rpm as this is happening. It gets especially bad while on an incline. Goes away as soon as I let off throttle or transmission downshifts to 11th gear.

Has codes for voltage/short on cylinders 1 and 3.

Turbo Boost Pressure

I've heard that a bad engine wiring harness causes this problem. Has anyone had success replacing only the harness?

Yes. I first replaced the engine harness but the problem continued. A week ago I replaced all 6 injectors and cups with the updated stainless steel cups and the engine is running smooth-- no shaking, no misfiring and my MPG is back up. All the fault codes are gone as well.

 

I haven' been following this thread so it may have been said already. Need to check the carrier bearing. Sometimes they are very hard to see. Also a two man job to be a little safer. The best way is to jack the truck up and put on jack stands. One person under truck the other in the seat. Put in 5 or sixth gear and let idle.

 

what dealer did you do a dyno at??? was it a volvo dealer???
