Just how bad is your millage? Dont expect to see over 6mpg.
-
The best i get is 6 mpg, and that at 80000lb on flat land. mostly 5.7 but mostly run 95000 to 100000lb.
-
well it is 1350 rpms when going 60mph,
i get around 5-5.5 mpg, but it is by driving 60 mph most of the time, with extremley light foot on the throtlle. this was my first truck i bought. i compare my truck to my relative's one, he owns 01' 387 pete with c-15 6nz, he gets around 7 mpg driving 70-72 mph all the time. all the specs are same. -
Has it been to CAT for their awesome updates? What is the boost pressure, what is your pyro reading..... You could have a crack intercooler and not even know.
You're buddy with the 387 is full of shat unless hes pulling empty trailer around, especially at 72mph. -
when i bought the truck 2 years ago check engine was coming on and off, took it to a cat dealer they replaced aps, not sure if they updated anything then.
turbo goes up to 30psi when rpms are 1500 or above, pyrometer never gets over 900, mostly 600-700 cruising and 800-850 going uphill full throttle. -
Id still check the air to air, it should get 6mpg easy driving 60mph.
