Hi Hurst, I remember a Transtar cab-over I drove that had the green lights on the dash, otherwise 90% of the trucks I drove had the ol' Signal-Stat 900.
Come to think of it, it probably was a green light.
My 05 Columbia is equipped with the old Signal-Stat style turn signal. As ancient as it is, it gives me comfort knowing it will most likely out live the truck.

I've never had a problem remembering to switch off my signal but I did ride for 20 miles or so with my 4 ways on after chugging up a hill at 35mph once. Than again, I've only been on my own for a few month so, in time....

I'd put this right up there with digital climate control systems. They have been standard equipment on Audi, MB, BMW, Volvo, and Caddy for almost 20 yrs, why not install them on trucks.

Does anyone know how to modify the turn signal switch so the blinkers stay on till I want to turn them off?
Does Volvo sell a non cancelling turn signal switch for the 2014 VNL780? -
i don't like self cancling turn signals. they annoy me even in the pickup. there are lots of times you turn left to turn right or you start straightening out but your trailer is still turning ect. i like my turn signals to not turn off till i turn them off and when your used to it helps avoid the forgetting to turn them off after a lane change situation.
Justrucking2 Thanks this. -
Besides they cannot handle the flash at 30 amp...
