6 months experience - my options

Intermodal is tied to the Railroad Yards and Shipyards within JBH. I actually have one month there but was purely national Solo OTR. Going to Ford in Buffalo with auto parts for example or Busch Beer from St Louis to Iowa east of Des Moines.

I cannot do anything but strongly suggest you stay put within JBH for at least another 6 months and try to get into the OTR division. Once you have several weeks in with a good dispatcher, you will be able to have more runs into NY that you seem to like.

Right now you might not understand my position, but I am telling you that staying with a employer at least one year or even 18 months or more, you WILL write your own ticket anywhere. People HATE job hoppers in this industry.
