I skimmed it. It has the cabotage definition.

The food part was neat. Is Donna Diesel a real person?

Interesting.....I wonder if drivers over there pay better attention to rules regs than drivers here? lol
OK so in essence....Don't take a load to Norway in winter....lol7-UP Thanks this. -
Hot diggity. You are right about that food, they must pick at it like my birds outside at the feeder.
We should ship em a 5 pounder from the 1 hour steak special in Texas. Mess of fries wif gravy and a stack of fudge covered in syrup backed by a shake. That will be worth about a thousand miles overnight dont you think?rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -

Yep, if I want to sleep, I hit the Espresso machine and make a latte with a double shot. It I want a nap, then it is a single shot of Espresso and go lay down.

A friend of mine from Germany came to visit when I was in Vegas. She ordered a steak dinner, pretty standard Vegas meal. When our food was brought to the table she literally picked up the steak and took a selfie with it. She told us the food on just her plate would have been dinner for her entire family when she was growing up in East Germany. Then totally deadpan says, no wonder you Americans are so fat.

Im not surprised.
Part of the problem we have is corn sryup and other processed things in food everything. The other problem appears to be a pernament shift in work situations. Back when I was a child everyone was pretty fit. Several generations later we have a weight issue and not enough work to keep that fit outside of those who engage in sufficient work.
Before anyone gives me a hard time, I have you know that I would eat 10000 calories in a winter day with three meals complete and work like a dog loading and unloading trailers plus driving etc and maintained my body weight of about 140 in those days. I was a runt. If I ate like that at my current at home no working at 170 I would be 400 plus within the year and dead 6 months after that. I get along on about 1600 calories more or less. Getting married was worth 15 pounds, quitting smoking was worth 20 and so on. All that gain from 140 to 265 and back to 170 or so which is where i want to be.
ANYWAY... that is not the whole story either, I feel that the foods we had prior to roughly 1991 or so were good quality foods that mostly has to be cooked properly. Anything after (And most everything) became a problem no matter how you cook it if you had too much.
Part of my research into history, involves rationing imposed on America during world war two. They had a points system. Weekly a civilian got a booklet with stamps to pull. If you wanted a can of soup with it's valuable war metal and food meant for the troops, it's 6 points. You got 48 points per week. A gallon of gasoline had it's own ABC cards depending on your value to the war effort. We would not tolerate such rationing today if this was to happen again.jraulpilot1998 and Lepton1 Thank this.
