I'm sorry friend, it just is not that simple at Walmart. You don't work here, but if you did you'll be pressured into throwing your stuff into a dirty truck to drive for the week or risk sitting waiting for another tractor or even stepped.

Most of Walmart's newer drivers are somewhat dirty if not beyond filthy. They all claim they spend time cleaning up, but there's still crumbs, grease prints, sneeze splatters, body hair and stinky odors all over these cabs. 10 out of 100 assigned trucks are clean, most are stuffed with junk in the cabinets and some even have their filthy bedding or mattress padding still left in the sleeper even when they're gone for a week.

Sounds great! They leave their foam mattress pad so you can use it next. Still warmed up and cozy.:)

If this is true, why would you still be here? Maybe you truly are just another disgruntled X WM driver?
IF what you say is true, and you say nothing to noone, YOU are part of the effing problem, and NOT part of the solution. You love misery so much that all you know how to do is spew BS. You don't get stepped for refusing a truck. Quit being ignorant.

I would be very particular about any bunk truck. Not out of the question to demand a new mattress but that's no guarantee there are not bedbugs elsewhere in truck

I've seen lots of Wally wonders lately and was more thinking that bed bugs wouldn't be a problem ,headlice sure but not bedbugs

No a driver claimed he had gotten bedbug bites from his truck. They had 4 trucks he complained about examined and none of them had bed bugs. Not one truck has been found to have any pests.

Anything else is people listening to facetwat posts of disgruntled ex-employees.

Odd thing is we were notified that truck checklists are now going to be instituted when a driver is assigned a truck he will fill out a sheet about truck readiness. No sooner than the announcement came out the negative crowd immediately started the griping about having to meet a standard of cleaning on trucks.
