WIFI Review.

The best truckstop wifi is the McDonalds one, lol!

 

10 gigs for $90 on my Verizon prepaid mifi is a way better deal than any of the truck stop wifi. And I can get it almost anywhere and very quick if I do.

 

Any lists around of MacDonald's with truck parking?

I tried using Love's Wifi but it has a limit of usage then kicks you off. What I do now is take my tablet home, where I pay for wifi and netflix, and download movies I want to see for the week.

 

The wifi costs aren't worth it, your best option is Verizon unlimited. I got a wilson signal booster made for trucks that works well. The good thing about the signal booster is that you get to have an antenna inside the cab, if you are already a far distance from a cell tower, the fact that you are using a cell phone in a big aluminum box doesn't help at all, so boosting aside, you have an antenna inside the cab that is run to the antenna outside of the cab. Every time I spent money on truck stop wifi I would regret it, I had sprint unlimited and it was okay, but some places it didn't work good enough.
