    I was in the class right behind you. The training pay didn't change until around the end of 2015 . That $71 A day and no pay if you didn't drive 4 hours sure sucked. If we were going to have a short day we would take the long way or slower way to get more time. Like thru downtown Chicago at rush hour instead of 294. Sometimes he would just say good enough and indicate I had 4 hours which I wasn't going to complain about.

    Augspurger. And yup, that's the one I was talking about. I saw the truck and trailer. He's lucky he lived. If there had been someone in the passenger seat, no way they lived through that.

    That's righ, Augspurger.
    I never saw the truck but did see the trailer. The shop guys rebuilt the trailer because it was literally brand new. Not sure what happened to the tractor.

    I saw the tractor again up in Black River. I'm betting they stripped what they could and scrapped what was left. That thing was ####ed up. My favorite part of that story is the driver telling Dan that he wasn't doing anything at the time of the accident. Cameras, dummy. Why lie.

    I saw them beating on the trailer. I was under the impression that they were just trying to get it semi-roadworthy so that it could be hauled away. Bill ended up hauling that thing up to Wisconsin. I thought he said they scrapped it, but I could be wrong.

    I grew up down by Trenton. Augsperger rd was always a bad road even if you weren’t distracted.
