Who is Hiring right now?

Heh Eskimo,
I tried to PM you but my post count is not high enough.
Do you know of any small fleet owners in Florida that hire experienced drivers without recent experience? I have been working in construction for the last 8-9years. Never had an accident or any violations.
Would appreciate any help,

Don't mean to piggyback . But when you find out about something out of Florida. can you PM me please......... I keep hitting brick walls.

 

The company I was talking about will hire out of Florida(we have a terminal and warehousing/LTL foliage operation in Sanford,Fl). With not having worked as a driver recently, no matter where you go, you will be treated as a trainee and will have to start over. Most of the "training" companies will probably go so far as to make you go through a school. I can't answer that specifically for each company though. Anyhow, I will PM you the phone number to the company and the name of a fleet owner.

 

I just got off the phone with Prime and was turned down! They stated there were better qualified applicants! I have old experience and recently got my CDL-A with N&T last month and can't seem to land a job anywhere! Applied to about 25 carriers, Swift was about the only one I may have a shot at with a terminal upstate from me in Syracuse,NY but can't get a slot to get into orientation! Man this is a real joke, getting frustrated waiting about 3 weeks now without a job!
