Yeah, I really only make $20k. I have nothing better to do than come on the trucker report of all places and make up stories. It's just a job. Gawd forbid that after 9 years I'm actually good at it.
I watch drivers come and go. They complain till they get what they want then quit when they get it because dispatch asks too much of them.
    It's just a job.
Sure I'd like to see more people come on board here but today's generation wants something for nothing.
Keep thumping on that keyboard driver.
    Land of the free.

Any driver who claims they're making $90k a yr as a company driver who blatantly dodges with every excuse to not prove what they claim is an absolute joke...i highly doubt any co driver there makes anywhere close to that..

What I'd like to know is how one can do 8 stops and 520 miles a day... In the Northeast starting in Kearny, Nj.
Day after day and some days "12-17 stops"

All those stops means a lot more time on city roads too.
    I just don't see it.
500 miles alone running Nj-ny seems tough as is.

It is possible to do that many miles and stops in a day. Now in NJ I can’t say I’ve never ran there and never will. Now 12-17 a day and 500 miles prob isn’t happening. If the stops are close I’ve done 500+ miles and 8-10 stops. But it’s likely say 225 miles to start deliveries, 50 miles total while delivering and 225 back to terminal.
If you read what he is saying he knows 2 guys that are doing the same thing. I was making about 70k out of myrtle and knew 1 or 2 more doing the same and then one other guys making nearly 80k. But look at it like this maybe 10-15 total drivers make that out of the whole company. 800+ drivers total and 10-15 make that money. The rest are there fussing all the time because they are making 30k a year maybe. Lots of guys in myrtle we’re leaving Sunday running one load that was 900 miles or so with 10 stops then getting backhauled around the country for a week. Gone 2 weeks and maybe run 3000
Miles in 2 weeks. Suppose to be home weekly. That’s why drivers quit there. I was one of the select few that made the money I made. I loved it, until Schneider screwed with my dispatch. It was going downhill, I found a opportunity to go to a different company and do the same job. So I took it. As far as lazy or whatever he was saying, I’m still unloading furniture that’s not why I left. I left cause Schneider screwed Watkins Shepard up. Period....

To be fair to the guy I did $80k without working real hard. 125,000ish paid miles, 82% "days worked". Before y'all say "but your a te", if I ran a full week without a bugger eater my pay was about the same. They keep getting dumber, which cuts into production.

I'm the 6th highest earner in my division. I know a guy running family dollar (des moines div) who grosses over $90k - trainer as well. There's a guy out of dallas who did 153,000 paid last year - home for 34+ every weekend. Its possible, hard, but possible.
