I agree that is why I don't log any "PC" time. I don't have any trouble moving around a property to dock. you can move above 5 mph but need to watch distance traveled. If you have read my previous posts (#10and#61) it should be clear to see they are about how I try not to burn my clock up at the docks. I did mention in the first post how I moved a couple miles to get to receiver early. That was when I first got the elog and wanted to see if it would work. I was already set up to use an 8/2 split and was heading home 60 miles away after delivery. Haven't done that since I just move around alittle at the docks that's all

You reschedule the delivery due to HOS constraints. If everyone did that, the shippers and receivers would be forced coordinate better with regard to appointment times and detention.

I Use to run 94-96 km hr. I can't make my marks now so I can deliver on day 3 for the first leg of my triangle. HAVE to run 103-105. No choice. How's that my fault?

You're not REQUIRED to speed. No one and nothing are making you do it. Unless there is a munchkin holding a knife to your throat. You are making the conscious decision to do it.
The only things ELD's did was take away the ability to fudge things a little. And the only ones complaining are those who were forced to change. The bottom feeders have had them for years. Successfully.

Yes you are absolutely right about that. This is the reason why I always edit from sleeper to on duty and not the other way. Sorry Mr. Auditor I always forget to change this dang box to on duty when I wake up from my naps. Would look pretty bad if I was always changing on duty time to sleeper wouldn't it? I have pulled my logs more than once.

Reason for edit is to show my on duty time and stay in compliance . Do you think I would get into trouble for that?
