Well I don't have much to say,if you can go home when you feels like it, and go back out again when you feels like it, and don't have to ask permission to do so, and the only thing you have to worry about is your bills, then and only then one should run there mouth, because most of you guys cannot go home when you feel like, us express is one of them, you go home when they feels like it and don't lie, because I was approved to run for them 10 years ago and turn them down, I go home when I feel like it, I run were I want to run, I go back out when I want to, you guys come here talk big talk and then call dispatch the ask may I please go home, and wait for approval, and if they don't guess what you better keep running please,

Nope, I’m a company driver who has only been with the company for 5 months. Though I stayed out for the entire 5 months without coming home and I know how to talk to people so I got upper management to approve for me to take the truck home and do whatever I want. I’m a good employee, so they treat me very well

Correction-- they have 3 spots at HQ for T and TL to visit HQ, I know We have been there :)
Wife and I have been teaming for USX dedicated CEVA account going terminal to terminal for a bit over 2 yrs..easy pleasy..
.50 per mile 4700 miles a week guaranteed. avg 5500 no stealing from 1 week to balance the other. I haven't found a better deal yet. got a brand new truck (17) last yr ran it 200,000 + miles and just got a brand new 2018 this yr... We are out 5 weeks home 5 days last 2 weeks out we get $100 a week stay out bonus each.
Plus we are mentors which helps pay for a nice vacation once a year...
and we did collect an $8000 sign on bonus and they payed every penny of it..

ya and you take all the RISKS pay all those taxes and maintence and barely make much more money for all the trouble after its all said and done, if your wheels aren't moving staying at home you aint makin nothing, we can roll 2000 miles in a week and still get paid for 4700 and we have never been told no when we put in for our home time and we take 10 days a year for vacation to mexico no problem so if your off more than we are you ain't makin nothin.. we know a owner ops couple and over a 2 yr period it was about even money wise..they went back to being company drivers lol they could pick and choose and go home when ever but they also had all those taxes and expenses and work and risks we didn't have . LMAO not worth the few xtra pennies

PS> they did get to put their names on the doors and stick their nose in the air till it crashed and burned with expenses like a motor and tires and taxes, tolls ,maintainence, tow bills ,hotels and fuel and accountants etc etc etc etc WOOOOHOOOOO..

You know all those MINOR things We don't have to worry with :)

I get .25 per mile to sleep too:)

let see we roll 68 mph avg and avg 650 miles each that's 1300 miles avg in 24 hrs and split $650 that's $325ea per day or about $30 per hr ea, not bad --sound different when ya put it that way HUH...

I can break it down this way we drive over 200,000 a yr that's over $100,000 a yr, We save over $50,000 a yr after taxes ,tithe to our church, Phones, food and fun/vacation..oh ya and the grandkids and kids ugghhh lol

I'd call that middle class pay and I bet you would find a few that would call that rich !!!. no mortgage no bills no risk ..
10-12yrs and We are sitting on a 1/2 million to 3/4 million EASILY ...Sound like a pretty good retirement plan for a couple in their late 40s mid 50s...

Might do a couple of yrs just working 9 months and taking winters off just to pad the bank account....and learn how to retire LMAO

Retirement plan 2026-2028... New 1 ton dually a toy hauler and a Razor and camp at any RV park in the country and move whenever we want and see whatever want, RELAX all we want till we are dead or can't whichever comes 1st.. :)

Most pll wouldn't live like us, but later most wont be able to live like us :)
