That's Dibol I think south of Marshall I think in the woods. It's a South bound with the Northbound getting renovated after being closed for years. Only Queen City is an avoid at all costs.

The last 2 times the State of TX and I have communicated they hit me in the same spot, asked you axle out yet driver?

    Got no proof officer.

Well follow me over to the old gin here and let's get some. Dry Dirt 2 State of TX 0

Several years ago, I was “in between”, good driving jobs and took a job driving a straight truck for a local electronic recycling company in Jacksonville, TX for a few months. Some of their trucks weren’t in great shape. Sure as s$@!, I drive the one truck with hydraulic brakes up that direction and get pulled in and inspected. Truck failed as parking brake was inoperable. I knew this of course as we used chocks when we parked. I also “knew” that there were no weigh stations that direction. Truck was placed out of service. That was my 1st time driving thru there. Hard lesson learned.

@Moose1958 can't forget about the one in 59north near little York, 610 south near I-10, Huntsville,Freeport and of course Pasadena la Porte deerpark. Also near Galveston you might run into dot near la marque and texas city.

South Texas only driver here. We got chicken coops on 37 and 35, 281 and 77. 35 is open a lot. most likely a green arrow to bypass scale, but 77 and 281 can be sons of #####es at times.

Last inspection was in Mission, TX. TXDPS lights me up. I'm thinking its because I tore through a yellow (basically empty of course!) and my seat belt was hung up (ahem!) on the arm rest (God #### if I'm going to get a ticket for that snafu). Anyway, he tells me to haul around the corner for an inspection and I get a sticker. Yay me, thank you for burning 90 mins of my time.

I asked, did you pull me over cuz I took that yellow and the corner a bit fast? He laughs and says, "Nah, son I'm nabbing all y'all out here today." Well good f'n day to you to sir...

Been free and clear ever since. Cop'r said ticket was good for three months.

In Texas they dont open the weigh stations just to weigh trucks passing by. If its open avoid at all costs. Especially the one on nb i45 before Huntsville.

New Waverly is open almost every weekday. If you’re placarded you can almost count on an inspection. Devine, south of San Antonio is open nearly every weekday in at least one direction. Falfurrias is open most weekday mornings as well.
