I am a truck driver with about 3 years verifiable driving experience . The last 9 months I have been pulling 3 cars (semi/53 ft trailer). Does anyone in the continental united states know of any home daily car hauling companies that will train a new driver to use a stinger 9/10 car or even a 7/8 trailer and semi combo. I am currently living in the Detroit area but would like to move anywhere else so all leads would be greatly appreciated.

I would also go over the road but my only responsibility is my tiny dog that must come with me.. any leads, Thanks!!!

Cassens Detroit hiring. Urs is big in Michigan.
Cassens you could be home daily. Urs might have a local board.

There are plenty of opportunities to get trained. The pet policy, especially when riding with someone, maybe an issue. Virginia Transportation does have a pet policy once you're on your own. That's getting tighter I hear because of dogs eating trucks! Lol

Thanks for the lead. All the companies I see only want experienced car haulers or they are over the road jobs that dont allow pets.

I worked here one time. Home time was not so good because cars have to be delivered when they are made and the trucks are expensive. They do hire without any car hauling experience. Pay pretty good but it a lot of work and a very small sleeper. I learned how much getting dressed everyday laying in bed gets old. Summers are hot and winters are cold. Takes about 3 hours to load the truck with 8 cars. When I was their that had 24 hours to get the cars on to a truck once they were ready to go. So if I had home time and the boat comes in, no home time because the cars come first. They changes some things today because the car use to come into New Jersey and last I hear they put them on rail cars to the BMW factory in SC.
