    That's Ground. He's talking about FedEx Freight. Totally different deal.

    @SmoothTrucker23 - if they hire you, you'll start on the dock and go through their training. Can you drive a forklift?

    LTL dockworkers get paid way better than most warehouse workers due to the complexity and skill level required, as well as the working conditions in an unheated cross-dock situation. Ours at my company make $20/hr.

    Get your foot in the door. That's a good plan. Good luck!

    If you at all can. Get that job.
    We had a girl from our CDL school go straight to FedEx freight. She delivers around town. Drives doubles in town. Yes, she is attractive. But, she dolls herself all up. Makeup, hair all done up. Makes sure she looks as good as possible. Then! Those idiots she delivers to. They hup to it when she shows up. Yes mam! Is their attitude. She gets unloaded quick. Then moves on. She's got it figured out. :)
    If you can get experience. Just had an extremely good source tell me about UPS over the road after 5 years experience. Said those guy take home... I mean TAKE HOME.... $5,000 a week! But.... they run teams... They are not allowed to stop for anything. Bad weather. They have to run through it. They are mandated to run like the Pony Express. That truck is not allowed to stop moving. Yet, the money is there....big time.

    @SmoothTrucker23 ,

    I wish you the best of luck. For the most part, FedEx Freight drivers are one group I can’t stand. They are so unprofessional down here in the South,with no courtesy and a disregard for safety. I hope the drivers in Mass are more professional. And. I have seen a few good looking FedEx female drivers for sure.

    They drive like out of control nutbags everywhere,
    Not just in the south. It's a company requirement.

    Once again, that's more common at FedEx Ground rather than Freight. Two totally separate companies with wildly different standards and operating styles.
